I am a professional chef, food/wine/cooking writer and this is my blog. TheRecipeDex focuses on any items that are food and wine related including, raw and prepared foods, herbs and spices, cheese, wine and wine related items, appliances, service ware, farmers, ranchers and fisherman. TheRecipeDex also has the unique component of “Two Cooks and a Book” where I (as a professional chef) and my sister (as the home cook) choose recipes from a cookbook and blog about it. For this we love to have authors/publishers submit their cookbooks to work with.

In the recipe sections of TheRecipeDex I mostly publish my personal work which are recipes based on restaurant experience scaled to home use portion sizes, or family recipes which are often gluten free as my wife, like many people around the world, lives with celiac disease. I also have a passion for nutritionally balanced, tasty and trend conscious cuisine as I am very active. On occasion I will reprint or edit the recipes of others that I find intrguing  with their permission.
